it never matteredThe congregations singing blasphemy from the pews Eyes averted from the fallen cross behind the ugly organ Words spewed forth in a sickening rhythm that was created by the holy Forgotten Lost in the pages of hypocrisy that bred within the deacons and elders Pastors and preachers for their perverse natures screaming brimstone The cross behind molded and rotten in it’s neglect A powerless church Dying within it’s own corruption.it never mattered
